Abstract

The article offers information on the study conducted by F. J. Martin and others on the probiotic modulation of symbiotic gut microbial host metabolic interactions in a humanized microbiome mouse model. It states that this study is the first to show the direct and helpful effects of probiotics on both the composition of gut microbial populations and metabolic processes.
