Abstract: The article presents a research paper on the metagenomic analysis of the human intestinal microbial flora. The researchers have been able to build an investigation on the composition of the microbiome and have attempted a computer simulation reconstruction of the metabolic potential of the microbiome. The researchers have contended that humans should be considered as superorganisms whose metabolism represents an amalgamation of microbial and human attributes.
