Discusses a technique of growing decaffeinated tea and coffee. Role of the enzyme caffeine synthase in the catalyzation of the caffeine biosynthesis pathway; Possibility of the technique to grow decaffeinated tea and coffee without taking away flavor; Discussion of side effects of caffeine, including palpitations, anxiety, and increased blood pressure.
