- Abstract
The article discusses a case study of a 52-year-old woman who experienced a complicated posterior circulation stroke following chemoport insertion, which led to vertebral artery injury. The study details the successful endovascular intervention management of the stroke, highlighting the importance of swift intervention in such cases. Complications related to central venous catheter insertion, including arterial injuries, are also discussed, emphasizing the need for immediate management to prevent serious outcomes. The article underscores the significance of choosing appropriate treatment methods, such as endovascular techniques or surgery, based on the specific complications and risks involved.
