Title: Conservation news.
Abstract: The article offers news brief related to animal conservation. Komodo dragons that are circulating in Fiji were suspected of being an Asian water monitor and a marine green Iguana. The 12th Student Conference on Conservation Science (SCCS) was held in Cambridge, England on March 22-24, 2011 with student delegates from more than 60 countries. The 18th annual Whitley Awards Ceremony was held at the Royal Geographical Society in London, England on May 11, 2011, hosted by broadcaster John McCarthy.
