Abstract: The article offers an update on the "Revista Brasileira de Psiquiatria (RBP)." It offers information on the journal's impact factor for the years 2009-2011. Information is also provided on the new section of the journal titled "Psychiatry and the Arts," which aimed to publish short, art-related text on music, literature and painting that are of interest to psychiatry.
