Title: Malignant Melanoma of the Oral Cavity: An Aggressive and Rare Entity.

Abstract: It is exceptionally unusual to see oral malignant melanoma, which is highly aggressive with dismal prognosis. A 61-year-old female patient presented with hyperpigmented and hemorrhagic areas in the anterior mandible. Microscopically, positive Immunohistochemistry staining with monoclonal antibody Human Melanoma Black (HMB45) and S100 protein, confirmed the diagnosis as malignant melanoma.
