- Abstract
The article "Retraction Note: Do Zinc Supplements Enhance the Clinical Efficacy of Hydroxychloroquine?: A Randomized, Multicenter Trial" published in Biological Trace Element Research has been retracted by the Editors-in-Chief due to concerns about the reporting of the clinical trial. Issues were raised regarding the time between patient recruitment and article submission, as well as discrepancies in baseline CRP levels and associated P values in the patient groups. The authors have not adequately addressed these concerns, leading to a loss of confidence in the presented results and conclusions. Some authors disagree with the retraction, while others have not responded to inquiries from the Publisher.
