Abstract

This document discusses the role of technology and design in ensuring access to high-quality learning experiences. It highlights the importance of technological tools and the design of learning environments in promoting access to learning opportunities for all learners. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought attention to issues of access to instructional resources and learning opportunities, particularly in terms of technological tools and internet connectivity. The document explores the concept of access in relation to technological tools and discusses various articles that examine the connection between technological tools and Universal Design for Learning (UDL). It also suggests areas for further research, including the need to design tools and environments that reflect the UDL framework and the role of teachers in mediating students' use of technological tools.
