Abstract

The article discusses the report entitled "Ancient Philosophy for the Twenty-First century," by Julia Annas which focuses on the importance of changes undergone by the discipline of ancient philosophy in the twentieth century. It says that the report contributes to the study of ancient theories of cognition and perception. It mentions that Theodore Scaltsas examined Plato's account of knowledge and belief in Republic V.
