Abstract

The article discusses the modern scientific application of Marie Sklodowska Curie's ideas related to the development of "cold" sterilization and polymer technology. Through Curie's work, development in radiological protection came about as well radiation chemistry of polymers used for disposable medical devices. Explanation of the positive hole, which is the product of ionizing radiation, is given. The latest application of the ionizing radiation with sterilization on the frozen baby mammoth specimen by ARC-Nucleart is also included.
