Title: Youth Attitudes and Perspectives on HIV Infection and AIDS.

Abstract: The author reflects on the exposure of teenagers to human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS). He cites that adolescents are vulnerable to HIV infections and AIDS because they engage in sexual activity and drug addiction. Knowledge of youth regarding the mentioned diseases varies among racial groups but Caucasian adolescents have the most knowledge. He encourages parents to warn children about the dangers of engaging in such activity.
