Abstract: The article presents a study which investigates the relationship between the teachers and students in biology classes in high schools. It was speculated that research on the relations between behavior of science teachers and other variables is barely adequate. An important task facing researchers in science teaching is to understand the complex phenomenon of teaching and to develop theories of science teaching. The study was divided into two phases to meet two major objectives including the development of a reliable category system and to describe and analyze the characteristics and patterns of these kind of interaction.
