The article presents a research report about the science preparation of Idaho biology teachers compared with AAAS cooperative committee recommendations. The purpose of the study was to examine the academic science preparation of Idaho high school biology teachers for the 1964-65 school year. The results of the study indicated a possibility that the teacher preparation programs in Idaho's institutions of higher learning were not preparing the biology majors and minors in most phases of biology and ancillary sciences as well as those in Utah and some other states.
