Abstract

The article presents a study that evaluates the resistance induced by jasmonic acid to economically important insect pests in winter wheat. It mentions that damages among insects can induce chemical changes in plants which are commonly considered part of a defensive response to such injury. The study is conducted through field trials to observe the effects of the application of jasmonic acid on wheat insects. Results of the study show that jasmonic acid is effective in controling pests.
