The article investigates on properties and preparation of acrylic rubber that are self-crosslinked via gamma ray initiated emulsion polymerization. The study involves the preparation of self-crosslinked acrylic rubbers by gamma ray initiated emulsion copolymerization in which N-hydroxymethl acrylamide and acrylic acid were used as cure-site monomers. It is observed that curing properties could be affected by the species and content of the cure-site monomers.
