Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 68 year old male patient with a history of systemic hypertension and transient ischemic attacks who presented to physicians with mild dyspnea. A discussion of diagnostic testing and a myocardial scintigraphy which were performed on the patient is presented. The use of ranolazine in the patient which was given to treat heart failure with preserved left ventricular ejection fraction is discussed.
