Abstract

The article presents a study which examines the ability of Bisphenol-A (BPA) to combine with human glucocorticoid receptor (GR) and its binding interaction through molecular docking and modeling techniques. The study uses the Insight II and Discovery Studio 2.0 software from Accelrys Software Inc. to simulate amd analyze, BPA in which reconstruction of missing amino acids was performed. Results of the study reveal the ability of BPA to bind with GR in an agonist form.
