Abstract: The scanning liquid crystal (LC) prism type 3D displays may solve the resolution degradation problem but introduce another issue, dynamic crosstalk. To improve the 3D perception, a novel impulsive driving backlight method with multi-electrode driving structure scanning LC prism is proposed. With this method, the dynamic crosstalk can be reduced by 35.2%.
