Abstract

The article focuses on the international collaborations and economic investments made by Iran for economic development. Topics discussed include location of Iran between contrasting phytogeographical realms because of which it has high flora and fauna; occurrence of soil erosion as a result of drainage and unsustainable land-use practices; and development of effective domestic policies and strict regulatory frameworks to promote sustainable development in Iran.
