Title

Rejoinder on 'Spatial prediction in the presence of positional error'.

Authors

Fanshawe, T. R.; Diggle, P. J.

Abstract

The authors offers a reply to the comments made about their article on spatial prediction in the presence of positional error in geography literature. They agree to some extent with the comment that the effect of positional error might be small relative to the errors in both the modelled exposure surface and in estimating actual exposure because of improvements in geographical location measurement. They also clarify the issue of what is meant in practice by the concept of positional error in the prediction locations.
