Abstract

Further, topics related to the description of quantum dynamics have included the simulation of the ionic stopping power and QHD. It covered equilibrium quantum plasmas (warm dense matter [WDM]) as well as strongly correlated fermion systems out of equilibrium. A key method for the description of warm dense matter is given by the quantum Monte Carlo technique, which is afflicted with an exponential computational bottleneck - the notorious fermion sign problem.
