- Abstract
The Editorial Board of ASMBI is strongly committed to guarantee not only the publication of high quality papers but also the respect of the ethical guidelines typical of our profession, well described by the ASMBI publisher's (Wiley) Best Practice Guidelines on Publishing Ethics, Editorial Standards, and Processes (https://authorservices.wiley.com/ethics-guidelines/editorial-standards-and-processes.html). Section (2.3) of the ASMBI paper closely resembles Section 2.1 in the first paper by Langrock et al, whereas the appendices of the ASMBI paper and the second paper by Langrock et al are too similar. We are even more pleased to report (and Langrock and MacDonald agree) that the model in the ASMBI paper is different from the ones in the other two papers, and we acknowledge the novelty of the ASMBI paper and thank its authors for it.
