- Abstract
The article evaluates the sensitivity and specificity of the Immunoglobulin G (IgG) enzyme-linked immunoabsorbent assay (ELISA) and IgG indirect fluorescent antibody test (IFAT) in detecting Toxoplasma gondii-specific antibodies in two domestic cats in California, using the Bayesian approach. Findings show the poor performance of both serologic tests in cats infected with feline immunodeficiency virus and T. gondii.
