- Abstract
Objective To establish an UPLC-QTOF-MS method for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of 8 triterpenoids in the flower of Xanthoceras sorbifolium Bunge. Methods The mobile phase was performed on an ACQUITY UPLC HSS T3 C18 column(100 mm×2. 1 mm, 1. 8 μm) with 0. 1% formic acid as mobile phase A and acetonitrile as mobile phase B by gradient elution. The flow rate was 0. 4 mL·min-1. The analysis was performed in positive ion mode and negative ion mode with electrospray ionization source(ESI). Results By comparing with the retention time and MS data of the reference compounds, the structures of 8 triterpenoids were identified in the flowers of Xanthoceras sorbifolium Bunge. Under the same experimental conditions, the quantitative analysis of 8 components was completed. And the developed quantitative method of 8 triterpenoids was verified to be precise and accurate. The results showed that the content of 8 triterpenoids in buds(384. 5 μg·g-1) was higher than that in flowers(330. 6 μg·g-1). Conclusion The established UPLC-QTOF-MS methods are suitable for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of triterpenoids in flowers of Xanthoceras sorbifolium Bunge. This research provides a theoretical basis for the rational application and quality control of the flowers of Xanthoceras sorbifolium Bunge.
