- Abstract
The article presents a study on the prevalence of pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB) in a tribal population in Madhya Pradesh state, central India. Findings include a prevalence of the disease among males with risk increasing with age. The study also finds that conditions in the tribal TB population are similar to conditions in non-tribal populations in the country. Sustained and long-term measures for the control of TB in the area are recommended.
