- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 40-year-old woman with implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) for her ventricular fibrillation caused by a sudden cardiac arrest due to revascularized ischemic heart disease, normal ejection fraction, and end-stage renal disease. The patient suffered from infection and the device was removed. She received three shock episodes of subcutaneous ICD.
