The article focuses on the potential of Brazil's drug industry to be a foreign investment area. It says that the epidemiological profile of Brazil has been increasingly attractive to big drug companies. It adds that the Brazilian government introduced various drug-safety measures and created public-private partnerships designed to roll up significant medicines. Moreover, the drug companies that have invested in the country include GlaxoSmithKline, Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., and Novartis AG.
