- Abstract
A study published in the Chemistry of Natural Compounds journal explored the potential anti-liver and colorectal cancer properties of compounds found in the leaves of Michelia crassipes. The study identified various chemical constituents in the plant and tested their ability to inhibit the growth of cancer cells. The results showed that these compounds were effective in suppressing the proliferation of liver and colorectal cancer cells, with lower toxicity to normal cells compared to the current chemotherapy drug. The document provides information on the extraction and isolation process of these compounds, as well as the support received from Yuan's General Hospital.
