- Abstract
The article focuses on testing for familial hypercholesterolaemia (FH). It discusses the causes of FH, the prevalence of FH in Great Britain, and factors to consider in diagnosing FH. The Simon Broome register used in diagnosing FH and clinical signs of FH are discussed. Documenting a three-generation family history in managing FH in patients and referral for patients diagnosed with possible or definite FH are also mentioned.
