- Title
MISSING FROM THE CANADIAN SPORT SCENE.
- Authors

- Abstract
This article focuses on a lack of Indian athletes in the Canadian sport scene. Indian athletes initially achieved excellence in the sport of lacrosse as teams from Caughnawaga and Akwesasne won several championships in the 1800s. They were once expected to win because of a supposed "natural ability" but have since faded from a position of influence in sports.
