- Abstract
The article presents a study which aimed to determine the efficacy and tolerability of venlafaxine in comparison to methylphenidate in treating Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in children and adolescents. Using a 6-week, parallel group, randomized clinical trial, the results showed no significant differences in efficacy between the two drugs, but methylphenidate displayed more occurrences of headache and insomnia side effects.
