The article comments on the numerological events in George Herbert's poem "The Temple." The author discusses the similarity between "mons veneris" in the Garden of Adonis as depicted in the poem and the imagery in Edmund Spenser's poem "The Fairie Queen," explores the center of Herbert's "The Temple," and examines the Ket stanzas of the poem.
