- Abstract
Using cultivated Ganoderma lucidum strain G0157 as the starting strain, its protoplasts were treated by atmospheric room temperature plasma (ARTP) to obtain 640 regenerated mutants, among which 103 were confirmed mutant strains by antagonism experiment. For all strains, polysaccaride content and mycelial biomass from submerged culture were determined and then the corresponding overall polysaccharide yield of each strain was calculated. The results showed that mutant strain A-434 contained more polysaccharides than the original strain by 46%. Compared with the original strain, overall polysaccharide yields of A-246 and A-434 were increased by 268.57% and 63.07%, respectively. Antagonism experiment and RAPD labelled analysis showed that A-246 and A-434 remained genetically stable up to 10 generations of subcultures.
