- Abstract
The article presents a report on bilateral exudative retinal detachment (RD) in Churg-Strauss Syndrome (CSS). A case report of a 16-year-old boy with CSS with painless visual disturbances due to vitreous haze bilaterally is presented. His vision improved after pulse methylprednisolone therapy but only for one month. RD recurred bilaterally and eosinophilia was detected. Methylprednisolone was again administered followed by successive intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG). Post treatment showed improved vision and retinas almost entirely reattached.
