- Abstract
The collection of articles in the Catalyst special issue entitled "Novel Non-Precious Metal Electrocatalysts for Oxygen Electrode Reactions" mirrors the relevance and strengths to address the inevitable increasing demand of energy. To date, the state-of-art catalysts for ORR consist of platinum-based materials (Pt), while ruthenium (Ru)- and iridium (Ir)-oxides are the best known OER catalyst materials. 11 Zhu H., Li K., Chen M., Cao H., Wang F.
