- Abstract
In the article, the authors discuss their study which examined the effects of body mass index (BMI) and age on the fasting serum glucose and glycosylated haemoglobin (HbA1c) in male and female maturity-onset diabetes of the young 2 (MODY2) and MODY3 probands. Topics include the methods used in the study like the Spearman's rank analysis and least linear square approach, and the results showing deteriorating fasting glucose in MODY2.
