- Abstract
The article discusses findings of the research breaking the myth of allergic reactions to iodinated contrast agents (ICA) related in the field of urology. Topics include ICA being a integral part of urological practice enhancing the imaging of the urinary tract, classifying the reactions into groups and sub-groups, and using low-osmolar non-ionic contrast agents, such as iohexol and ioversol in clinical practice reducing the reactions.
