- Abstract
Patient/blogger videos were less likely to recommend consulting a healthcare professional than dermatologist (17.9% vs. 73.1%, respectively; I P i < 0.001) or nondermatologist physician videos (17.9% vs. 62.5%, respectively; I P i = 0.006). Dermatologist videos were more likely to discuss systemic conditions than patient/blogger videos (0.31 vs. 0, respectively; I P i = 0.001) and as likely to discuss systemic conditions as nondermatologist physician videos (0.31 vs. 0.15, respectively; I P i = 0.14). Patient/blogger videos had a higher percentage of videos that were financially biased than dermatologist (37.5% vs. 3.8%, respectively; I P i = 0.003) or nondermatologist physician videos (37.5% vs. 0%, respectively; I P i < 0.001).
