- Abstract
(c) Hematoxylin-eosin staining (×400): Dense connective tissues surrounded the nests, and no clefts were observed around the nests. gl A pigmented trichoblastoma is an uncommon variant of trichoblastoma that usually presents as a benign basaloid tumor with follicular differentiation. Seborrheic keratosis is occasionally associated with other skin tumors, with an incidence of approximately 9%.1 In fact, BCC is the most frequent skin tumor associated with seborrheic keratosis, with an incidence rate of 31.8%.1 In contrast, the coexistence of trichoblastoma and other skin tumors is very rare; to date, only 12 such cases of collision tumors have been reported.2,3 To the best of our knowledge, the present case of a collision tumor of melanotrichoblastoma and seborrheic keratosis is the first reported case till date. 2 Battistella M, Peltre B, Cribier B.
