- Abstract
The article reports on a study which aims to evaluate the role of noradrenergic system in the antidepressant activity of tramadol using tail suspension test in Albino mice. The method used in the study was the five groups of mice which receives various medications. Result shows that antidepressant activity of tramadol is mediated through interaction with the noradrenergic system and may increase the levels of noradrenaline.
