- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 71-year-old woman underwent a total abdominal hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy for FTC followed by several cycles of adjuvant paclitaxel and carboplatin. This case suggests the utility of metastasectomy in the setting of isolated metastasis from FTC, and also adds to the literature that right hilar lymph node. It mentions that isolated lymph node metastasis as a recurrence of gynecologic malignancy has been described in a few publications.
