- Abstract
The article offers information on the potential therapeutic target of Src/c-Abl pathway in the treatment of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), which is reportedly a fatal disease causing progressive loss of motor neurons. It discusses the development of a phenotypic screen to repurpose existing drugs using ALS motor neuron survival as readout as well as generating motor neurons from induced pluripotent stem cells.
