- Title
Neolithic men were prepared to fight for their women.
- Abstract
The article reports on the method used by archaeologists to distinguish ancient tribes based on fossil evidence. It is stated that the argument that women have motivated cycles of violence and blood feuds throughout the history has no support from archaeological evidence. It notes that the method helped archaeologists identify the origins of victims tossed into a mass grave of skeletons. It also mentions the discovery that Neolithic men were prepared to kill their rivals to secure their women.
