- Abstract
The article reports that the preliminary survey conducted by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman to detect the batrachochytrium dendrobatidis (BD) infection and the susceptibility of amphibians had failed. It mentions that the commercial, pathogen-specific standard Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) analysis had found no evidence on the presence.
