- Abstract
The article discusses findings of a study to determine the viability of developing a mobile-based system for supporting an emergency triage for mass casualty incidents. It cites the use of a Cox proportional hazard model that can facilitate triage and transportation decision-making for triage officers. It also notes that the proposed mobile-based system offer an alternative injury assessment tool based on the vital signs of an injured patient.
