- Abstract
The article discusses a study which investigated the synthesis of organically modified rectorite (OREC)/polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) nanocomposite gel polymer electrolyte (NGPE) by using in situ polymerization. It notes the use of X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscope (TEM) in analyzing the dispersion and exfoliation statuses of the OREC. Results of the study showed interactions between OREC and other components that may affect GPE's conductivity and stability.
