- Abstract
In this article the author provides an outline of the history of immigration law in the U.S. which results in the imposition of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). The author discusses the former cases of decentralized immigration enforcement and cite employer sanctions and non-federal immigrant-detention facilities. He also calls on the U.S. Congress to repeal the INA or to re-centralize the enforcement of the immigration law.
