- Abstract
We thank Matías-Guiu et al for their interest in our article.[1] The quantification of white matter integrity is one of the main applications of -amyloid positron emission tomography (PET) in multiple sclerosis (MS). We agree that cortical MS lesions may contribute to lower cortical PiB uptake in patients with MS, a concept that can be better investigated with the utilization of high-field (eg, 7T) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), because it better detects cortical MS lesions.
