- Abstract
The article focuses on occurrence of toxic flame retardant chemicals (FRs) in streams and coastal waters of Washington and a study conducted by Erika Schreder, Science Director at the Washington Toxics Coalition, on the same. Topics discussed include FR contaminated dust particles settling on clothing and laundry items, identification of polybrominated diphenyl ethers and contamination of indoor environment that cause diseases like cancer.
